The in-laws are coming to stay with us.
Tomorrow is a half day at school, last one before the two week break.
Some of this last minute stuff is not really my fault. Favours and tasks for other people are having a knock on effect.
I haven't sewn clothes for myself in months. After Christmas it is all about ME! Unless I sew my husband a balmacaan coat from a Japanese pattern book....

ReplyDeleteMy idea of 'control' is to put what stuff I can into plastic bins (the rest in a closet), buy a yard 1/2 of lovely Christmas print cotton (on sale now), shirt-tail hem the yardage, place over bins, use bins as a side/display table.
ReplyDeleteOh petoskystone's idea is brilliant! It looks like that here on a smaller scale since I have, maybe, an hour a day to devote to crafting (and the family insists on dining on the dining table, how pesky!). My solution is to set a time when I'll call it a day/night/year, clean everything up and tell myself there will be another Christmas... That said, I hope you get it all done!
