Carolyn at HandMadebyCarolyn gave me an award for commenting on her blog.  This is an award that I was born to win.  I never shut up.  



To quote:

 The simple and sweet purpose of this new blog award is simply to thank the lovely people who take the time to comment on your blog, which is nice since who doesn't love and utterly adore to receive supportive comments? 

There is no requirement to do anything like list stuff about yourself, just to pass it on to the last nine bloggers to comment on your blog...

I am passing this award onto my last nine commenters:

I have to say these are stalwart commenters.  They took the time to comment on a dodgy kids costume! The more I look at those pictures, the more sure I am that I switched a back bodice piece for a front bodice piece.  There is no way, I am taking that thing apart!  She just needs it to sing in the chorus at a local show and go trick-or-treating in it.  There were actually 14 commenters on this cack-handed project, they all deserve a shout-out.  But, I'll stick with the award rules.  The sewing community is pretty great, no?

    I'm quite interested to see the words that I wrote about the award in my blog being quoted in everyone's blog that I passed the award on to now, as if they are the "official" rules. The original one didn't come with that (my) description. Curious.

    Honestly Karin I think you deserve about 20 of these awards! I wonder if there's anything in the rules about getting more than 1... would you display several if you received several?

    1. Probably not. I'd try to politely acknowledge the award without doing the full routine. I wouldn't want be people to think that I am greedy, or bore them!
